Tea Stir-Fry

Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 Lipton Green Tea with Mandarin Orange Flavor Pyramid Tea Bags
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Bertolli Classico Olive Oil, divided
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips
  • 2 cups stir-fry vegetables OR
  • 1 16-ounce package frozen stir-fry vegetables, thawed
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Preparation
    1. In 1-quart saucepan, bring water to a boil over high heat. Remove from heat. Add tea bags; cover and brew 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and squeeze; cool slightly. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar and cornstarch; set aside.
    2. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat and cook pork, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until lightly golden; remove and set aside.
    3. In same skillet, heat remaining olive oil and cook vegetables, stirring frequently, 4 minutes or until golden. Add garlic and ginger and cook, stirring occasionally, 1 minute. Stir in tea mixture. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook, stirring occasionally, 1 minute or until sauce is thickened. Return pork to skillet. Reduce heat to low and simmer 2 minutes or until pork is done. Serve, if desired, with hot cooked rice.

Dulce De Leche Tea Pops

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1-1/2 cups half and half
  • 4 Lipton Vanilla Caramel Truffle Pyramid Tea Bags
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation
    1. Pour boiling water over tea bags; brew 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and squeeze. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add half and half; let cool.
    2. Pour evenly into 8 4-ounce paper cups or ice pop molds. Freeze until almost firm, about 1 hour. Insert popsicle sticks into centers; freeze until firm.
    3. To serve, press firmly on bottom of paper cup to remove.

Spring Greens With Wild Berry Dressing

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 6 Lipton Bavarian Wild Berry Pyramid Tea Bags
  • 1 small shallot or onion, peeled and halved
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup Bertolli Classico Olive Oil
  • 6 ounces spring mix or salad greens
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 4 ounces herbed goat cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans

Preparation
    1. Pour boiling water over tea bags; cover and brew 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and squeeze; let cool.
    2. In blender, process tea, shallot, vinegar, sugar and mustard until smooth. While processing, slowly drizzle in olive oil. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper.
    3. On serving platter, arrange spring mix. Evenly top with onion, oranges and cheese, then sprinkle with pecans. Just before serving, drizzle with dressing.
