Pepperoni Pizza Quiche

(Family Features) - As a busy mom, I'm too familiar with the frazzled countdown to weeknight dinnertime. Dinner needs to be something my family will enjoy-that doesn't take much time and comes together easily. Honestly, what I look forward to after a long day is savoring time with my family. Too much kitchen busyness doesn't work on a weeknight.

My strategy is having reliable recipes that really work hard with convenient ingredients, like evaporated milk. It makes a dish that's easy to assemble, with minimal prep or measuring. Both  parents and kids enjoy, winning me smiles around the table.

That's why I'm proud to share family-tested and taste-approved recipes created by our kitchen team with the guidance of real moms and their families who helped us test these recipes.

One of my favorite of these Family Favorite recipes is the irresistible Pepperoni Pizza Quiche.  This recipe allows you to enjoy family time while dinner's in the oven. This savory quiche is quick to assemble and it uses on-hand ingredients like a frozen pie shell, shredded cheese, eggs, herbs and convenient evaporated milk. Fragrantly reminiscent of your favorite pizza parlor, this delectable and fun quiche will bring the family to the table in a hurry.

Other Family Favorite recipes we've developed fall into different categories that were created with the family cook in mind, from Easy Bake Meals, Around the World, Simply Done Suppers, Breakfast for Dinner, and Double-Duty Freezer-Friendly.  These recipes are sure-to-please as they have all been kitchen-tested, and tasted, by families just like yours, for easy prep and winning taste.

You'll find Carnation Evaporated Milk in these recipes as Carnation, fondly referred to as "the cooking milk," is often used as a convenient substitute for regular milk because of its rich flavor, creamy consistency and nutritional benefits. It's perfect for creating easy sauces and blending flavors and spices. This pantry staple stars in recipes sure to please your family-from Mexican Meatloaf Muffins to Suppertime Sausage Bake.

I promise these recipes will earn "most requested" status from your family, so check out and try all of the Family Favorite Recipes collection at VeryBestBaking.com/Carnation, where you'll always find great ideas from dinner to dessert.
