Makes 18 (1/2 inch) slices

  • 1-3/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup Post Spoon Size Shredded Wheat Cereal, finely crushed
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Del Monte large mashed ripe bananas (1 cup)
  • 1/4 cup fat-free milk

    1. Mix flour, cereal, spice, baking powder and baking soda in medium bowl. Beat sugar and margarine in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and bananas.
    2. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating after each addition until smooth. Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
    3. Bake 60 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack.
