Cranberry Salsa Burger Description
A recipe for Cranberry Salsa Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Certified Angus Beef® ground beef
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon peppercorns, crushed
  • 4 ounces Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
  • 4 sesame seed buns
  • Cranberry Salsa:
  • 3/4 cup picante sauce
  • 8 ounces whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mint, crushed

Preparation
Mix salsa ingredients in saucepan; reduce over medium heat until mixture is chunky. Set aside.

In bowl, mix beef, onions and peppercorns. Form patties and grill over medium heat until internal temperature is 160°F or no pink remains. Add cheese and melt.

Place burgers on buns and top with cranberry salsa.
