King Cake

A recipe for King Cake
Ingredients
- 1 package (16 oz.) hot roll mix
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 Light or dark cocoa Candy Melt(r)
- Glaze:
- 1-1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Yellow, green, purple Cake SparklesTM
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray Cascade pan with vegetable pan spray with flour. Prepare hot roll mix as directed on package, adding granulated sugar and cinnamon to the dry mix. Place half of dough in pan; place candy melt on dough. Add remaining dough. Let rise until doubled in volume, about 30 minutes.
Bake 30-35 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on cooling grid.
In small bowl, combine confectioners' sugar and lemon juice; mix until smooth. Spoon over bread; add cake sparkles. Let glaze set before icing.
