A recipe for Cherry Orange Delight
Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups boiling water
- 3 packages (4-serving size each) Jell-O Brand Cherry Flavor Gelatin
- 2-3/4 cups cold water
- 1 can (11 ounces or 15 ounces) mandarin orange segments, drained
- 4 ounces (1/2 of 8-ounce package) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tub (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
Prep: 15 minutes plus refrigerating
1. STIR boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate about 1-1/4 hours or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites). Gently stir in oranges.
2. BEAT cream cheese and sugar in separate medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Add whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Spoon into large serving bowl; cover with gelatin mixture.
3. REFRIGERATE 2 hours or until firm.
