Jolly Holiday Ice Cream Trifle

Description
A recipe for Jolly Holiday Ice Cream Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Baskin-Robbins Peppermint ice cream
  • 1 quart Baskin-Robbins Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream
  • 1 box prepared brownie or chocolate cake mix, made in a 9x13-inch pan
  • 1 jar hot fudge topping
  • 1 can whipped cream
  • 1 12-ounce package Heath Bar candy bars or about 15 Oreo cookies
  • 12 cappuccino or large water glasses, or large trifle dish

Preparation
Any of your favorite ice cream flavors can be substituted in this recipe.

1. Bake and cool brownies or chocolate cake according to package directions; cut into one-inch cubes.

2. Heat hot fudge until warm.

3. Chop or crush Heath Bar candy bars or Oreo cookies into small pieces.

4. Line up glasses on tray or get out trifle dish.

5. Place two pieces brownie or cake into each glass. If using trifle dish, place enough pieces to completely cover the bottom layer of the dish.

6. Top with one-ounce scoop of each ice cream flavor. If using trifle dish, completely cover the brownie or cake layer.

7. Add one-half tablespoon of Health or Oreo pieces. If using trifle dish, completely cover the layer of ice cream.

8. Ladle two tablespoons of hot fudge on top of Heath or Oreo pieces.

9 Fill remainder of glass with one scoop of ice cream, one brownie cube, one-half teaspoon Health or Oreo pieces. If using trifle dish, use enough to create enough layers to fill dish to top.

10. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and a teaspoon of Heath or Oreo.

11. Serve immediately.
