A recipe for Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced shallots
- 2 tablespoons Disaronno
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons chives
Preparation
To prepare sauce, heat olive oil in heavy-bottomed skillet.
Add garlic and shallots, sauté until tender and remove pan from heat. Add Disaronno, return pan to burner and reduce liquid by half. Add chicken stock and reduce again by half. To this mixture, add heavy cream and cook over medium until sauce is slightly thickened. Remove pan from heat and stir in chives. Serve over Picasso Chicken.
