Southern Style Mixed Greens

A recipe for Southern Style Mixed Greens
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 pound Smoked Turkey Wings
- 1 pound Collard Greens, cleaned and chopped
- 1 pound Mustard Greens, cleaned and chopped
- 1 pound Turnip Greens, cleaned and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Preparation
Total preparation and cooking time: 2 hours
1. In a 4 quart saucepan, add water and smoked turkey bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to simmer and cover, cook for 1 hour.
2. Add greens and seasonings to saucepan. Return to a boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for 45 minutes or until tender.
