A recipe for Mini Popcorn Pumpkins
Ingredients
- 8 to 10 cups popped Jolly Time Blast O Butter Ultimate
- Theatre Style Microwave Pop Corn
- 1 (14-ounce) package caramels (about 48), unwrapped
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tube cake decorating frosting
- 20 pieces candy corn or 1/2-inch pieces licorice
Preparation
Place popped popcorn in large bowl, remove unpopped kernels. Place caramels, butter and water in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 minutes, or until smooth, stirring every minute. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and toss to coat well. Allow 5 minutes to cool and shape into miniature popcorn balls (1-inch in diameter) using slightly dampened hands. Place on waxed paper to cool. Once cooled, affix pumpkin stems using cake frosting and candy corn or licorice. Decorate with frosting "leaves," if desired. Cover securely with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
