Fresh Lemon Pepper Turkey

A recipe for Fresh Lemon Pepper Turkey
Ingredients
- 1 pound Honeysuckle White or Shady Brook Farms Breast Cutlets, Chops or Tenderloin
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (reserve lemon rind)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Preparation
Combine lemon juice, onion, soy sauce, oil, ginger and red pepper. Pour over turkey, coating evenly. Marinate in refrigerator 20 minutes to 3 hours. Remove turkey from marinade. Combine lemon peel, garlic and black pepper. Rub over turkey, coating evenly. Grill 5 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165° to 170°F.
