The American Pie Council is a not-for-profit association devoted to pie-making, pie-eating, pie-selling and the preservation of our fading pie heritage. The APC publishes the newsletter Pie Times, the sole pie-focused publication available, maintains a pie-related Web page, sponsors pie educational programs, presents the annual National Pie Championships, and celebrates National Pie Day on January 23.

The APC embraces two kinds of members: Personal and Commercial. Personal Members are individuals and families who love to eat and make pie at home. Commercial Members are companies who make pies, pie pans, pie-making machinery and pie ingredients or who sell pies in bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets. American Pie Council members receive Pie Times, a newsletter packed with pie recipes, tips, secrets, history, interviews with pie masters, news and trends.
