- Darjeeling Tea: Home to more than 180
different farms, the Darjeeling region of India
near the Himalayas provides teas with a distinctive
delicate/sharp fragrance matched with a taste
that is, when properly brewed, simply divine.
Often referred to as the champagne of teas,
it requires a minimal time for brewing and the
liquors range from golden yellow to golden red.
Various processes are being used, from green
to oolong to black, and the resulting tastes
are complex and marvelous both alone or for
cooking.
